Hamburg
Visiting Bergen today was the small German cruise ship MS Hamburg.
Entering service for Hapag-Lloyd in 1997, she sailed as C. Columbus for 15 years, until she was acquired in 2012 by Plantours and renamed Hamburg.
She has a tonnage of 15,000 and accommodates around 400 passengers and 170 crew. Hamburg's smaller size makes her perfect for exploring 'off the beaten track' destinations, including transits of the Great Lakes in North America.
This afternoon Hamburg sailed on to Geiranger to continue her current cruise. Aslo in own were Ocean Majesty and Thomson Celebration.
