AIDAluna

Earlier this week AIDAluna called into Bergen, and I was able to take a few nice photos; both as I passed her on the ferry home, and as she sailed past Nordnes on her departure from the city later in the afternoon.

Entering service in March 2009, AIDAluna is the third of six Sphinx-class ships built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany for AIDA cruise lines. With a tonnage of just over 69,000 and a length of 252m, she can accommodate around 2100 passengers and 600 crew.

Also in port were AIDAcara and Fred Olsen's Balmoral.

To see our photos of her sister ship AIDAsol, take a look at our previous post here.
